We are proud to present the new vintages of Finca Urquiza and Finca Urquiza Reserve.
Finca Urquiza Reserve 2006 is a collection of red wines from our vineyards in Uco's Valley. They are elegant and have a strong personallity, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Finca Urquiza is made of Malbec and Cabernet 2007 and Sauvignon Blanc 2008. This line pronounces the varietal expression. Each wine´s aromas and flavors are typical of the grape and terroir of origin and provide a great introduction to the freshness and the quality of wines from Argentina.
We have worked in restiling the labels and bottles, in order to join the worldwide tendence in design.
As always, we continue working on every step of the process of cultivation and vinification so that the spirit of the wine keep living in our bottles.

Malbec's boom
US press highlights the chances of Argentinian wine during crisis time.
They say that this product, especially Malbec, is in its best moment and Argentina is offering what the market needs: "good values."
Malbec impacts on international press Malbec is the Argentinian emblematic grape par excellence and, considering consumers' attitude to face the crisis, it has achieved to be the center of attention of the biggest export markets.
The Cabernet tradition
This is one of the most traditional and significant varieties in Argentina. Despite having lost ground as a result of Malbec´s strengthening in the past years, Cabernet Sauvignon is deeply rooted in domestic consumption. Nevertheless, this variety has great competitiveness in several parts of the world but, according to experts, it will not lead Argentina in the differentiation it seeks.
